Rely on God’s Wisdom to Guide Your Path

Good Morning!

Trust in and rely confidently on the Lord with all your heart and do not rely on your own insight or understanding. In all your ways know and acknowledge and recognize Him, and He will make your paths straight and smooth [removing obstacles that block your way].  -Proverbs 3:5-6

How many times do we think it is all up to us? During those times do we trust in and confidently rely on God? Or do we rely on our own insight and understanding? The above verse says that when we truly rely on God, He will make our paths straight and smooth. Sounds pretty simple and I believe it can be, we just tend to get in the our own way too many times. This doesn’t mean we can just sit back and do nothing though, because no matter how smooth and straight the road is you still need some sort of momentum to propel you down that road, so we still need to do our part in the partnership that we have with God.

“Don’t tell God how big your storm is, tell the storm how big God is.”

“God will not be able to direct your steps if you refuse to move your feet.”

Dad Joke of the Day:

I just learned that NASA is planning to launch 6 cows into low earth orbit on the 4th of July.

It will be the herd shot round the world.

Have a great Thursday!
