For He has rescued us and has drawn us to Himself from the dominion of darkness, and has transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son, in whom we have redemption [because of His sacrifice, resulting in] the forgiveness of our sins [and the cancellation of sins’ penalty]. -Colossians 1:13-14 AMP
This is such a good truth to continually remind ourselves of. God has rescued us from the dominion of darkness, that means that the enemy, the darkness that loves to come in anywhere it can into our lives, has zero hold on us because we have been rescued from that. That doesn’t mean the enemy won’t keep trying to convince us otherwise but if we can continually remind ourselves that darkness has no hold over us and focus on God (light) and what Jesus has done for us we can experience victory. As we end the year let’s keep that in mind as we head into the new year. Let this be a year where the enemy loses massive ground in the battlefields of our minds and in the battlefield surrounding us. Rest in the truth that God has for you. Be the change.
