Good Morning!
Either make the tree good and its fruit good, or make the tree bad and its fruit bad; for the tree is recognized and judged by its fruit. -Matthew 12:33
We recognize a tree by the fruit that it produces. We have an apple tree in our yard and I never take the time to take care of it and nurture it with good nutrients or do anything about the bugs and insects that attack it every year. The fruit off it never fully grows to maturity and it has never produced an apple good enough to eat. That goes the same for us, if we don’t feed ourselves with good nutrition (the word of God) and take measures to keep the bugs (the enemy) off of us and trim our branches (busyness in our lives that suffocate us), how do we expect to produce good fruit?
“Sticks and stones are only thrown at fruit bearing trees.”
“I never saw a fruit-bearing Christian who was not a student of the Bible.” -D.L. Moody
Dad Joke of the Day:
My friend told me that his dog retrieved a ball from more than a mile away. I don’t know, seems pretty far fetched.
Have a great Friday and a fruit bearing weekend! 😊
