Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God [set aside self-righteous pride], so that He may exalt you [to a place of honor in His service] at the appropriate time. -1 Peter 5:6
As mentioned the other day, we are made for a purpose and if we can humble ourselves in front of God, He is able to use us at the right time. Being humble doesn’t mean being meek and weak, but instead being able to put God and other people first and being able to put yourself second.
