Good Morning!
For by the grace [of God] given to me I say to everyone of you not to think more highly of himself [and of his importance and ability] than he ought to think; but to think so as to have sound judgment, as God has apportioned to each a degree of faith [and a purpose designed for service]. -Romans 12:3
Sometimes we get so caught up in how we see ourselves that we forget to see ourselves how God sees us. Or when we are caught up on focusing on ourselves we forget what God designed us to do, what our part is to do in the body of Christ. Focusing only ourselves also keeps us from seeing the needs around us, how we can help other people instead of just ourselves. Our fleshly body’s natural tendency is to focus only on ourselves, but only with God can we see past that and see what God wants us to see.
“Think for yourself, not of yourself. Think of others, not for others.” -Naval Ravikant
“Never put yourself on a pedestal as life will always throw you from it.”
Dad Joke of the Day:
Two antennas met on a roof, fell in love and got married.
The ceremony wasn’t much, but the reception was excellent!
Have a great Thursday!
