God of Justice

Good Morning!

Therefore the Lord waits [expectantly] and longs to be gracious to you, and therefore He waits on high to have compassion on you. For the Lord is a God of justice; blessed (happy, fortunate) are all those who long for Him [since He will never fail them].   -Isaiah 30:18

This verse shows the heart of God. He waits expectantly and longs to be gracious to us. He is just. There is often a picture painted that God is just waiting to judge us as soon as we mess up and is often what gets the secular world tripped up about God. That is what the enemy wants everyone to believe and is too often how the church responds to outsiders which is also why the secular world has a bad view of God. This verse shows us that God wants what is best for us, He wants us to succeed in this life, He is waiting expectantly to help us succeed. He will never fail us. Let us as the church extend that to the people around us, we are made in the image of God so let’s go show the world what God is all about!

“Unexpected kindness is the most powerful, least costly, and most underrated agent of human change.”  -Bob Kerry

“Remember there’s no such thing as a small act of kindness. Every act creates a ripple with no logical end.”  -Scott Adams

Dad Joke of the Day:

What is the difference between a Hippo and a Zippo?

One is really heavy and the other is a little lighter.

Have a great Wednesday!
