Good Morning!
Blessed (happy, prosperous, to be admired) are those who wash their robes [in the blood of Christ by believing and trusting in Him—the righteous who do His commandments], so that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter by the gates into the city. -Revelation 22:14
I love the image that this verse brings. We wash ourselves to stay clean, we wash our clothes so we have clean clothes when we want to go somewhere. We make it priority. Why not put everything we have in believing and trusting in Jesus in washing our robes (hearts) in preparation to walk through the gates of heaven. We do not want to get there and be found dirty and not fit for the kingdom. While we cannot get to heaven on our own effort, we are the ones that are in control of our thoughts and our actions. Now is the time to start preparing, to make it priority.
