Good Morning!
For if we go on willfully and deliberately sinning after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice [to atone] for our sins [that is, no further offering to anticipate]. -Hebrews 10:26
Jesus died a gruesome death as an atonement for our sin. He will convict us of our sin and He will help us overcome our sin if we listen to Him and lean in on His help. He has given us everything we need to overcome our sin, but if we continue to choose to live in sin there is nothing more He can do. Because He has given us the freedom to choose to follow Him, He will not go against our free will and force us to follow Him, but He will continue to speak to us through convictions and affirmations to help us make the best decisions.
“It is never too late to be who you were meant to be.”
“Of all acts of man repentance is the most divine. The greatest of all faults is to be conscious of none.” -Thomas Carlyle
Dad Joke of the Day:
I’ve been to a lot of places, but I’ve never been to Cahoots. Apparently you can’t go alone, you have to be in Cahoots with someone. I’ve also never been in Cognito either. I hear no one recognizes you there. I have, however, been in Sane. They don’t have an airport, you have to be driven there. I have made several trips.
Have a great Wednesday!
