Good Morning!
He said to them, “It is not for you to know the times or epochs which the Father has fixed by His own authority. But you will receive power and ability when the Holy Spirit comes upon you; and you will be My witnesses [to tell people about Me] both in Jerusalem and in all Judea, and Samaria, and even to the ends of the earth. -Acts 1:7-8
I sometimes get wrapped up in what is happening in the world and how it ties into everything Biblical. While we should be aware, I read this verse as we should focus on the here and now and how to reach people for Jesus today. If we have the Holy Spirit in us we have power and ability that we don’t have in our flesh and we are to use that power to spread the word to the ends of the earth. Some of the other things are not for us to know and shouldn’t change how we live our lives, as we should always being living our lives in tune with Jesus and guided by the Holy Spirit.
