Armor of God Breakdown Series
And having put on the breastplate of righteousness (an upright heart).
-Ephesians 6:14
The breastplate was the the biggest piece of the armor, covering the upper body and protecting all the vital organs (the life-giving part of your body). Righteousness is described as free from guilt or sin, morally right. The only way we can put on the breastplate of righteousness is through God and having the righteousness of God as part of our armor puts us in a big advantage over the enemy. Righteousness is having integrity and standing for what is right. Without God’s righteousness (breastplate) we are vulnerable and exposed to the enemy. Seek God and seek His righteousness and go to battle today.
