O My Soul

Good Morning!

Why are you in despair, O my soul? Why have you become restless and disquieted within me? Hope in God and wait expectantly for Him, for I shall yet praise Him, The help of my countenance and my God.   -Psalms 42:11

Sometimes life happens and with the busyness of everything we might get sidetracked in our faith and become restless, discontent, and/or distressed. Sometimes it seems the best thing to do is exactly what this verse above is doing, you question yourself on why you are restless, or discontent, or distressed and then you refocus on your relationship with God because you realize that God is the only thing in your life that isn’t always changing, and going deeper with God is always fulfilling and settling. He will not take you to places where He will not support you through it, only when we try to do it on our own will it feel like we can’t do it. Only when we try to do life alone will we be restless, discontent, distressed.
