Good Morning!
Let the peace of Christ [the inner calm of one who walks daily with Him] be the controlling factor in your hearts [deciding and settling questions that arise]. To this peace indeed you were called as members in one body [of believers]. And be thankful [to God always]. -Colossians 3:15
The world today is in an unrest, not only on a big scale with wars in different parts of the world, but also in us as individuals. This verse says to let the peace of Christ be the controlling factor in our hearts as in there are other factors that constantly attack our hearts but the peace of Christ needs to be the controlling factor, needs to overpower any of the others that attack us daily. How is this accomplished? By walking daily with God, to have conversations with Him, and to allow Him to guide us throughout our day, along with being thankful always for what He is doing in our life. Start your day out today talking to God and let Him remind you throughout the day of your conversation, to where you can experience the calm and the gratitude that He desires you to have.
“Christ alone can bring lasting peace, peace with God, peace among men and nations, and peace within our hearts.” -Billy Graham
“The devil is a peace stealer, and he works hard to set us up to get upset. But we can learn how to change our approach so we don’t live upset all of the time. And Jesus give us the best example to follow.” -Joyce Meyer
Dad Joke of the Day:
A group of dolphins is called pod and a group of falcons is called a cast.
So if you ever watch the Miami Dolphins play the Atlanta Falcons, technically, you’re watching a pod-cast.
Have a great Wednesday!
