Patient Endurance

Good Morning!

For you have need of patient endurance [to bear up under difficult circumstances without compromising], so that when you have carried out the will of God, you may receive and enjoy to the full what is promised.  -Hebrews 10:36

There are times when we get into a problem and it creates a lot of frustration and it might be something where it is beyond our control at the moment to fix. I believe the best way to handle a situation like that is give it to God and then be patient and trust that He is working it out, as well as be on the alert to move when He asks us to move. Most of the time God’s solution involves action from us but in His timing and under His direction. If we try to force it before God has it in place we will continue to hit a wall. The other thing that we tend to do when we don’t have control over a situation is to slander whoever we have our frustration with or whoever we blame for it. That will only lead to broken relationships and mistrust. If we can take it to God and work in His timing under His direction, it will be resolved in a way that we can feel good about and we can walk away fulfilled and at peace. What frustration do we have today that we need to take to God and let Him work it out?

Dad Joke of the Day:

Timmy: I think I’m afraid of trees

Johnny: Relax. They are all bark. No bite.

Have a great Friday and awesome weekend!
