Good Morning!
The Lord bless you, and keep you [protect you, sustain you, and guard you]; The Lord make His face shine upon you [with favor], and be gracious to you [surrounding you with lovingkindness]; The Lord lift up His countenance (face) upon you [with divine approval], and give you peace [a tranquil heart and life].’ -Numbers 6:24-26
Can you take in this blessing? Do you believe that this blessing is for you? This is a blessing that God instructed Moses and Aaron to speak over Israel in the Old Testament.This still applies for us today because when Jesus died on the cross for each and every one of us, that blessing transferred over to every child of God (Christians). He says He will bless you and protect you, He will look upon you with favor, He will be gracious with you and toward you, He will look at you with approval, and He will give you peace. That is a blessing worth hanging onto and a blessing that is worth putting somewhere as a reminder. He spoke it over His children and in Galatians it tells us that anyone that becomes a Christian is adopted into Abraham’s descendants/family which therefore makes us heirs to God’s promises. Read the verses above as if God was saying them to you (because He is) and be renewed.
