Beware of False Prophets

Good Morning!

Even so, every healthy tree bears good fruit, but the unhealthy tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit.  -Matthew 7:17-18

Sometimes there are trees that look healthy, their fruit looks like it’s healthy, but once you get to taste the fruit it is no good on the inside. The same can be true for us, we may be able to put a good front on and at first glance we may have what people perceive as good fruit but once they get close to the fruit they realize that might not be the case. I think we all have moments where our fruit might not be the best but how we treat that bad fruit is really what makes the difference. If we continue to try to hide the bad fruit, try to cover it up we are not healthy spiritually, but if we recognize the bad fruit and address it by picking it and throwing it out we can get back on track and that allows our other fruit to flourish even more. While most people will bear bad fruit at some point or other, God will not, and that is who we need to put all of our hope in as He will never let us down. He will also help us recognize our bad fruit and help us get rid of it.

“Good thoughts bear good fruit, bad thoughts bear bad fruit.”  -James Allen

“Be diligent about your work and trust God for the results. Fruit needs time in the sun to ripen.”

Dad Joke of the Day:

What do you call a beehive without an exit?

Unbelievable.
