Good Morning!
For anger slays the foolish man, and jealousy kills the simple (naive). -Job 5:2
I think this is interestedly worded but so spot on, there is so much in just these few words. When we let anger consume us it often makes a fool of us and when the anger is not dealt with it will slay the life we were meant to live. Anger clouds our minds and it ruins relationships. Along with that is jealousy, which is like a decay to our mind and spirit, and there too it will destroy our faith and our happiness if not dealt with. When you are jealous you are not counting the blessings you do have, you are not focusing on how blessed you are but are focusing on what you do not have. Today, when you feel the anger well up breath through it and know how destructive it is to let out or to bottle up and instead focus on the opposite point of view. When you feel the jealousy rise up, focus on what you have to be grateful for. When we refuse to give in to the enemy and his tactics we change the world for the better.
“Better to lose count naming your blessings that to lose your blessings by counting your troubles.”
“You cannot see your reflection in boiling water. Similarly, you cannot see truth in a state of anger.”
