Sunday is Mother’s Day, a day to appreciate and show the love to our mothers that they undoubtedly gave to us. The love of a mother is something special that can only come from a mother. A mother can have so much influence over their children’s lives and give them something that they will carry with them for the rest of their lives. God designed mothers in a special way to nurture and love, a love that represents God’s love because most often a mother’s love is unconditional, as is God’s. I also know that there might be pain associated with Mother’s Day, either through the loss of your mother or maybe a mother that wasn’t present and if so, I pray that you can turn to God for comfort. God is unconditional and ever present and will be there to comfort you whenever you need it.
