Titus 3:5

Good Morning!

He saved us, not because of any works of righteousness that we have done, but because of His own compassion and mercy, by the cleansing of the new birth (spiritual transformation, regeneration) and renewing by the Holy Spirit.  -Titus 3:5

Jesus saves us when we turn our life and soul to Him. He doesn’t do it because we deserve it or have done anything to earn it. He does it because of the absolute amazing grace and compassion that He possesses. We have the free gift of the Holy Spirit within us that is nicknamed the “Helper” because that is exactly what He does, He helps us. Do we lean into what God provides us, the resource He has given us in the Holy Spirit? Through the Holy Spirit we have the power to overcome evil, overcome addictions, overcome unforgiveness. But the enemy loves to try to remind us of our past, of our addictions, of our offenses and try to drag that back out of the grave you buried it in when you died to self and were raised as a new person in Christ. Don’t allow the devil to do that, don’t allow him to dig up past sins, past strongholds. Scripture says that God will forget our sins, He’s moved past them, He’s left them behind, but we are often the ones that tend to not be able to move past them. Lean into the Holy Spirit and go all in for Jesus when the enemy is trying to dig up your past. Victory is yours, believe it!

“The Holy Spirit calls us to make a change, then gives us the power to overcome all obstacles.”

“The Holy Spirit is not exhausted. His power is not lessened in any way whatsoever.”  -Charles Spurgeon
