Good Morning!
For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable [for He does not withdraw what He has given, nor does He change His mind about those to whom He gives His grace or to whom He sends His call]. -Romans 11:29
We are all called to something by God, we are also given certain gifts by God. God does not change the calling He gives us and does not take back the gifts He has given us, God does not change His mind. It is us that determine what we do with it and through our own perception it might seem that one or both of those changed. Reading and contemplating on this verse was enlightening to me. Each of our calling and gifts are set in place, God will show us what either of those are if we choose to let Him but that comes with trust, trust to sometimes go blindly into something because we know that is what God wants of us. Just because we now know that God has a calling for us doesn’t mean He will reveal the whole thing at one time, instead it might mean we get a little bit of it at a time as we trust in Him and follow Him with open minded expectations. Do we know what our gift is? Are we exercising our gift? If not, what is keeping us from it?

Dad Joke of the Day:
Just failed my driving test. When the examiner asked me, “What sign would you expect to see down a narrow country road?” Apparently, ‘fresh eggs for sale’ wasn’t the answer.
Have a great Monday!
