Good Morning!
You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and mind and with all your soul and with all your strength [your entire being]. -Deuteronomy 6:5
What would it look like if the whole body of believers loved God with every ounce of their being? How much better would we be prepared to stand against the enemy and not let his schemes have any space in the church? I think if we as a church or as individuals are able to love God wholeheartedly we will see improvement in our mental health, in the outlook we have on life, and in our physical health. The health of our whole body is largely affected by the health of our spirituality and our mind. Our mind has the ability to make us excited about something and therefore give us energy that we didn’t know we had or it has the ability to make us physically sick with nerves or stress. There is a lot of power in our minds and if we can focus that power towards loving God with all of our being, don’t you think God will work in us and through us in great and amazing ways?
“The mind is a powerful force. It can enslave us or empower us. It can plunge us into the depths of misery or take us to the heights of ecstasy. Learn to use the power wisely.”
“I think if there is one thing that is hard for God to accept, it is half-hearted praise.” -Derek Prince
Dad Joke of the Day:
It’s been 6 months since I joined the gym and no progress.
Tomorrow I’m going there in person to see what’s exactly going on.
Have a great Tuesday!
