What is going on in the world now is no surprise to God and nothing can diminish His being. There are a lot of things still to come that are prophesied in the Bible that are going to be scary and hard, but if we are followers of Jesus we have solid footing to stand on. The more time we spend in building our relationship with Jesus now the more solid that footing will become and be when the storms of life hit you. If we don’t have that solid footing we will get swept away and not know how to deal with life’s hardships and instead will become bitter at life itself. Building relationship with Jesus is not that different than in building any relationship. It is about being present and not just going through the motions every day/week. It is being present in prayer, being present in Bible reading, and being present when living out what God has for you. God should be and will be your Rock if you allow Him to be. Life is too short to coast through it and too short to not live it all in for Jesus. Be the change.
