Good Morning!
And God is able to make all grace [every favor and earthly blessing] come in abundance to you, so that you may always [under all circumstances, regardless of the need] have complete sufficiency in everything [being completely self-sufficient in Him], and have an abundance for every good work and act of charity. -2 Corinthians 9:8
This verse is very enjoyable to read but may seem too good to be true but the thing is, it’s not too good to be true. When we truly lean into God with an abundance of faith, He will take care of us. Our flesh will always have a tendency to want more but when it comes to what we need, God will provide for us. So does that mean we can just sit back, do nothing, have faith and God will take care of us? No, that is not what the Word of God (the Bible) teaches us, the Bible teaches us that we are to do good work and everything we do we should do as something done for God. What is really amazing and awesome is, as the verse above states, God will bless us with enough abundance to bless others through charity and giving of our time and money. When we are willing to give, God will bless us with the resources to do just that.

“God has given us two hands- one to receive with and the other to give with. We are not cisterns made for hoarding; we are channels made for sharing.” -Billy Graham
