Good Morning!
Blessed [fortunate, prosperous, and favored by God] is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked [following their advice and example], nor stand in the path of sinners, nor sit [down to rest] in the seat of scoffers (ridiculers). -Psalms 1:1
Who you hang out with or take advice from is important. Naturally, most people become and think like who they hang out with and if they are hanging out in bad company can do things they normally wouldn’t have done. That can work in two ways though, either you are influenced or you influence. We all have opportunities to be the influence for good with the people we hang out with and not let ourselves be influenced in a bad way. It is easy to go with the current but harder to go against the current, I encourage you to go against the current if you find yourself in bad company.

“You are the average of the five people you spend the most time with.” -Jim Rohn
