Hardships

Good Morning!

And not only this, but [with joy] let us exult in our sufferings and rejoice in our hardships, knowing that hardship (distress, pressure, trouble) produces patient endurance.  -Romans 5:3

This is a tough one. It says to rejoice in our sufferings and hardships, in this we are realizing that through them God will do something great in us. This is a true meaning of the glass half full and if we can embrace that mindset, I truly believe our lives will be so much more meaningful. Looking on the positive side of things will increase joy every single time. Looking on the negative side of things will most definitely rob you not only of joy but of also of anything good because you are focusing on the bad. People that refuse to look on the negative side of things really frustrate the devil because he actually has no power over you if you choose to not give him any. How will you look at/approach things today?

“The ultimate measure of man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy.”  -Martin Luther King Jr.

“What you see and what you hear depends a great deal on where you are standing.”  -C.S. Lewis

Dad Joke of the Day:

Those who like my emails are happier, more intelligent, and better looking than those who don’t; according to the study that I made up.

Have a great Wednesday!
