Good Afternoon!

For the devious are repulsive to the Lord; but His private counsel is with the upright [those with spiritual integrity and moral courage].  -Proverbs 3:32

When I think of private counsel, I think of one on one sharing of knowledge and training. That is what we have with God when we are upright in our faith, when we have integrity and the courage to stick to our integrity. When we have that one on one training we come out of that in a position to change the world for God. You react to situations differently than what people expect, you have solutions to problems that exceed your own abilities, and you are a person that is enjoyable to be around. The people that are devious and try to constantly slide stuff through under the radar, treat people in a way that only benefits themselves, and that lack integrity, those actions are repulsive to God. Good news is, everyone has access to God and that one on one counsel and everyone can change through the help of God. Seek the one on one.
