Do Not Worry

Good Morning!

Therefore do not worry or be anxious (perpetually uneasy, distracted), saying, ‘What are we going to eat?’ or ‘What are we going to drink?’ or ‘What are we going to wear?’   -Matthew 6:31

Have you ever noticed when we start worrying about stuff, the creative part of our brain is restricted and if the worrying is bad enough it even shuts down completely. Anxiety has a way of crippling the mind of forward progress. Anxiety is a very common problem in today’s society, especially in the last couple years. One way to help with it is to pray, literally giving your anxiety and the source of your anxiety to God, relieving yourself from having to worry about it. Let that peace of handing it off to God settle deep within you. Secondly, write your source of your anxiety (all of it) out on paper and compartmentalize it and attack it one on one with a clear mind that has its creativity back. Then…..enjoy life.

“If it’s out of your hands, it deserves freedom from your mind too.”  -Ivan Nuru

“Worry often gives a small thing a great shadow.”

Dad Joke of the Day:

Sometimes I think I’m reasonably intelligent, and sometimes I click the remote car door lock a second and third time for extra lockiness.

Have a great Wednesday!
