Good Morning!

I sought the Lord [on the authority of His word], and He answered me, and delivered me from all my fears.  -Psalms 34:4

I love this verse. Fear cannot be found in God’s love and to obtain God’s love we approach God and seek Him whole-heartedly. What I love about the above verse is that this author sought God and God answered him, and He delivered from his fears. It doesn’t say God took away all of his problems, but delivered Him from his fears. If we can face our problems without fear, our problems might still exist, but we have won the battle over that problem. The enemy’s answer to everything is fear, God’s answer is perfect love that erases all fear. Similar to how light can chase out darkness but darkness only exists in the absence of light, so it is with fear. Fear only exists in the absence of love and love will chase out the fear. There is only one true source of true, genuine love and that is God, seek Him.
