Blocks & Temptations

Good Morning!

Woe (judgment is coming) to the world because of stumbling blocks and temptations to sin! It is inevitable that stumbling blocks come; but woe to the person on whose account or through whom the stumbling block comes!  -Matthew 18:7

This verse can refer to a lot of different things. What I take from it is if we purposely guide or lead someone in a direction that goes against God’s Word and Will and we know that we are doing it then we are being that stumbling block. I also think it can apply when you are in a position of influence yet you ignore that and do your own thing thinking the people that you are influencing aren’t your problem. I believe we are placed in positions of influence for a reason and we should not ignore it but point people to Jesus in whatever way is ours to do. Just because you are not in leadership does not mean you are not an influencer, everyone is an influence to someone…..be the good influence. We are also all being influenced in some way or other….choose to be influenced in a good way. Be aware of the content that you are consuming, even if you don’t think it affects your thinking, it does.

“Attitude is greatly shaped by influence and association.”  -Jim Rohn

“Think twice before you speak, because your words and influence will plant the seed of either success or failure in the mind of another.”  -Napoleon Hill

Dad Joke of the Day:

Being an adult is pretty easy, you just feel tired all the time and tell people about how tired you are and they tell you how tired they are.

Have a great Wednesday!
