Tomorrow

Good Morning!

So do not worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own. -Matthew 6:34

This is one of my favorite verses in the whole Bible, not because I necessarily live it out but because it is one of the things I need to focus on. Worrying and preparing are not the same, you should prepare for tomorrow depending on what you have going on, but you should never worry about tomorrow. Worrying about tomorrow is a big waste of time, it will stress you out today when you should be focusing on other things and it will change NOTHING for tomorrow. Like the verse says above, each day has enough trouble of it’s own, why would we want to add to it? So easier said than done, right? Couple things that help to overcome worry; finding a quiet spot and praying to God and talking it through with Him almost always brings immediate relief to worry and anxiety, and writing it out on paper along with writing out a game plan on how to overcome it because when you do that the enemy doesn’t have as much influence over it as when it is all going on in your head and you just compartmentalized to where it doesn’t seem as bad. Enjoy today.

Besides the Bible another great book on this is “How to Stop Worrying and Start Living” by Dale Carnegie

Dad Joke of the Day:

If you get lost in the woods find a possum, follow it.

You will be in the middle of the road in no time.

Have a great worry-free Thursday!
