Good Morning!
For God has not called us to impurity, but to holiness [to be dedicated, and set apart by behavior that pleases Him, whether in public or in private]. -1 Thessalonians 4:7
We are called to live in holiness, anything other than that is not from God. We are to be set apart in how we think, act, and come across to people. We are not, however, supposed to go out and judge and condemn the world. If you look at the life of Jesus, He didn’t condemn the Gentiles (the non-believers), He showed them love, He did community with them, He associated with people that the religious leaders of the day had disdain for. How do we as the church treat the non-believers? Are we like Jesus? Or are we like the religious leaders? Let us be set apart in that we love and not condemn someone we have no right to condemn. Be the light in the darkness.
“We are not set apart to rule, but chosen and set apart to serve.”
“I believe in Christianity as I believe that the sun has risen; not only because I see it, but because by it I see everything else.” -C.S. Lewis
Dad Joke of the Day:
People have always named children after expensive things, Mercedes, Dior, Chardonnay.
Next year watch out for Electric, Gas, Petrol.
Have a great Wednesday!
