Good Morning!
But how will people call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how will they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how will they hear without a preacher (messenger)? -Romans 10:14 AMP
What if by us sharing our faith with someone would lead to that person giving their life over to Jesus and experiencing salvation? What if we were the one person that God put into that person’s life to share our faith with and without us they would not hear of God and therefore never have the chance to experience salvation? We can’t expect the people of this world to change and to become believers if we aren’t willing to take the step of faith in sharing the gospel with them. Sharing the Gospel with someone takes courage and knowing that God’s got you and God sees your efforts no matter what the outcome of the conversation. I don’t say this as one that has it all figured out, but instead as one that struggles to lean into my faith and have the courage to bring God into the midst of my conversations. Reading these verses really hit home, what if someone’s salvation depends on me sharing the gospel? Do I have the courage or the urgency to take that step of faith? What about you, how does this resonate with you?
“Share the Gospel. According to the Bible, it is every believer’s privilege and responsibility to share the Gospel. If we understand what lies ahead for those who do not know Christ, there will be a sense of urgency in our witness.” -David Jeremiah
“If you want to see the big stuff that God has, you’ve got to take some risk and trust only in the Gospel.” -Francis Chan
