Humility

Good Morning!

Do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit [through factional motives, or strife], but with [an attitude of] humility [being neither arrogant nor self-righteous], regard others as more important than yourselves.  -Philippians 2:3

How often do we make decisions based on what is easier or more beneficial for ourselves? In today’s society it is easy for us to focus on how everything affects us and how we need to take care of ourselves first in order to get ahead. Instead of looking at it that way, what if we tried to focus on what we can do to make someone’s day easier or somehow better even if it doesn’t benefit us. What if we looked at the needs of others as more important than our own needs? What if everyone did that, can you imagine the trust and peace that would be prevalent in a society like that? Let us be the change, let us create the ripples that reaches beyond our sphere of influence.

“Life’s most persistent and urgent question is “What are you doing for others?”  -Martin Luther King Jr.

“Sorry is just another way of saying ‘you are more important than my ego’.”

Dad Joke of the Day:

My 4 year old nephew has been learning Spanish since lockdown.

He can’t say “please”, which I think is poor for four.

Have a great week and an awesome Monday!
