Good Morning!
But those who wait for the Lord [who expect, look for, and hope in Him] will gain new strength and renew their power; they will lift up their wings [and rise up close to God] like eagles [rising toward the sun]; they will run and not become weary, they will walk and not grow tired. -Isaiah 40:31
There is so much to be gained by being connected with God. This verse says that those who wait on Him, that are constantly looking for Him, will have new strength and renewed power not to mention they will be able to keep going without getting tired or weary. This doesn’t mean that we don’t have to get our rest and that we can just keep going without getting physically tired, but I do believe that if you are waiting expectantly for God to work in you and through you it will eliminate the burn out. In my experience, burn out comes from the things that we either think God is not relevant in or the things we don’t make God a part of. God wants to be involved in every detail and sometimes that means we have to change our mindset to include Him in our every detail.
