Good Morning!

This is His commandment, that we believe [with personal faith and confident trust] in the name of His Son Jesus Christ, and [that we unselfishly] love and seek the best for one another, just as He commanded us.  -1 John 3:23

Do we believe, do we trust, in the name of Jesus? And do we unselfishly love and seek the best for one another? That is what He commands us to do. How does our life reflect that? Sometimes we think being loving is being tolerant of everything, but as we learned from the verse yesterday, we need to also stand on the truth and what is right. There are ways to not budge on what is right and true, but still be loving in the process. Oftentimes our pride gets in the way of allowing us to do that.
