Good Morning!
Bearing graciously with one another, and willingly forgiving each other if one has a cause for complaint against another; just as the Lord has forgiven you, so should you forgive. -Colossians 3:13
Have you experienced forgiveness when you didn’t deserve it? Have you ever forgiven someone that didn’t deserve it? Both are an awesome feeling and both produce gratefulness. Even if you have never experienced forgiveness from another human, if you have a relationship with Jesus you have experienced forgiveness that you didn’t deserve. We are all undeserving of the forgiveness we have experienced from Jesus, yet He still forgives us. If you have hard feelings towards someone else it will eat and gnaw at you until you release it, and the only way to truly release it is forgiving that person. There will be a big weight lifted if you can release that forgiveness. There is so much freedom in Christ!
“Forgiveness does not change the past but it does enlarge the future” -Paul Lewis Boese
“Holding a grudge doesn’t make you strong; it makes you bitter. Forgiving doesn’t make you weak; it sets you free.”
Dad Joke of the Day:
There’s three types of people in the world.
Those that can count and those that can’t.
Have a great Friday!
