Good Morning!
I have loved you just as the Father has loved Me; remain in My love [and do not doubt My love for you]. If you keep My commandments and obey My teaching, you will remain in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and remain in His love. I have told you these things so that My joy and delight may be in you, and that your joy may be made full and complete and overflowing. -John 15:9-11
You want to know the recipe to fulfillment? The above verses have it. Jesus is once again saying, “Do as I do” and He is asking us to follow His example and stay within His teaching so He is able to bless us with the joy and delight that He loves to give to us. Jesus stayed within the commandments of the Father but He didn’t necessarily stay within the rules and commandments of the religious leaders of the time. In fact, He challenged a lot of the things that they added on over the years as commandments that were actually not from God but their own interpretation of what benefited them in a lot of ways. What are the truths and commandments of Jesus and are we staying within them? The top two are, love God in every conceivable way with everything you got in heart, soul, and mind; and second one is, love your neighbor (fellow man/woman) as yourself. You do these two things well and it pretty much encompasses everything else Jesus teaches.
