If we pay attention and have a conscious awareness, God is always working in us and showing us ways to draw closer to Him. The more you pursue God, the more He will show you opportunities to get more out of life by aligning yourself more with Him. God is like a loving parent, not one that is waiting for you to mess up so He can smite you but one that will gently remind you where it could be better. Every action has consequences, good or bad and when things aren’t going well, ask yourself if it is a consequence of a bad action and if not, it might be time of refining to bring you closer to God…
