Good Morning!
So be careful how you listen; for whoever has [a teachable heart], to him more [understanding] will be given; and whoever does not have [a longing for truth], even what he thinks he has will be taken away from him. -Luke 8:18
Do we have a teachable spirit? Or do we take the attitude that we have everything figured out? We will never have it all figured out and we should always have a teachable spirit because that leaves the door open to learn and become more like Jesus which should be our goal as a Christian. If we do not have that longing of truth we shut ourselves off of becoming more like Jesus and we become prideful and stubborn and therefore we lose what wisdom we had. A teachable person allows himself/herself to be humbled when needed. Let us approach life with a teachable attitude.
