The Father & of the Son

Good Morning!

Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations [help the people to learn of Me, believe in Me, and obey My words], baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe everything that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always [remaining with you perpetually—regardless of circumstance, and on every occasion], even to the end of the age. -Matthew 28:19-20

In the big picture of life, what is our desire? Is it only to live a good life and then to end up in heaven when we die? While there is nothing wrong with wanting a good life and going to heaven I would argue that there is more, and there should be more to life. We can have all of that but way more fulfilling if we bring people alongside us in the process. It should not just be about ourselves, it can’t be just about ourselves if we want to continue to grow God’s Kingdom, which is what we are called to do. What does that look like for you? Start meeting with a small group and grow yourself and others as a Christian? Come alongside that co-worker and help him/her do life with purpose? Volunteer at church? Come alongside our children and help them see the way to Christ? Making disciples and growing the kingdom can be a multitude of things, and not all will be for you, but something is…….go find that thing and excel at it for Christ!

“We aren’t called to fill the pews with members; we are called to fill the world with disciples.” -Stacy Sanchez

Dad Joke of the Day:

Being an adult means never having to show your work on a math problem.

It as awesome as it sounds, kids.

Have a wonderful Tuesday!
