All My Possessions

Good Morning!

If I give all my possessions to feed the poor, and if I surrender my body to be burned, but do not have love, it does me no good at all. -1 Corinthians 13:3

We can do all the right and good things and say all the right and good things and while it makes it makes the world around us a better place it does us no good if we are not doing it out of love. What our heart posture is when we do it matters. The most important commandment as a Christian is to love God, the second most important commandment is to love others. Everything else is somewhere after that. God’s love changed the world and still continues to. Let us be the vessel in which It is distributed.

“If we claim to love God, but don’t love each other our love is nothing and meaningless.” -David Alley

“If you believe in a God who controls the big things, you have to believe in a God who controls the little things. It is we, of course, to whom things look ‘little’ or ‘big’.” -Elizabeth Elliot
