Cast your burden on the Lord [release it] and He will sustain and uphold you; He will never allow the righteous to be shaken (slip, fall, fail). -Psalms 55:22
Here again we have a verse that tells us to unload our burdens, our struggles, our problems on Jesus. There are so many verses throughout the Bible that tell us to give our burdens to God, yet why is it so hard to do that? We live in a world that tells us that nobody is looking out for us and that we have to be selfish in order to survive. We live in a world where it is encouraged to make it all about ourselves and we have to figure it out on our own. That is a lie from the enemy and we are not designed to be selfish, but to work together as one body, to give our burdens to Jesus and to help each other out in achieving that. Let us be aware of our actions and intentions today and intentionally lay down our self and intentionally reach out and help someone else.
