Stand Firm

Good Morning!

Be on guard; stand firm in your faith [in God, respecting His precepts and keeping your doctrine sound]. Act like [mature] men and be courageous; be strong. -1 Corinthians 16:13

We all have hundreds, maybe even thousands, of things coming at us every day that work as distractions, meant to keep us occupied and focused on the wrong things. The enemy is working his best tricks at derailing us, but like in any warfare, if we can recognize the enemy’s tactics we know how to counter them. Let us be on guard, be strong in God, be mature in our faith, and stand firm. Let us live our lives in such a way that the enemy cowers from us because of our faith and dependence on God. Today is a new day, let the past be in the past, live like you have been given a second chance, because that is exactly what God has done! God desires you to live victoriously!

“To me, growing into spiritual maturity is becoming less self-conscious and more God-conscious.” -Mark Batterson

“Maturity doesn’t come with age; it comes with acceptance of responsibility.” -Ed Cole

Dad Joke of the Day:

Boss told me that as a security guard, it’s my job to watch the office.

I’m on season 6 but I’m not really sure what it’s got to do with security.

Have a great Tuesday!
