Tempted

Good Morning!

Let no one say when he is tempted, “I am being tempted by God” [for temptation does not originate from God, but from our own flaws]; for God cannot be tempted by [what is] evil, and He Himself tempts no one. -James 1:13

God does not tempt us. The temptations that we face are from the enemy, Satan. God can and will help us with those temptations if we choose to involve Him, He will help us overcome the vices that those temptations can have. The thing is….we have to involve Him. He allows us the free will to do as we please in our life, we can choose to follow Him or we can choose to do our own thing and live in sin. To me, that is what makes it all the more rewarding in choosing to follow Him, because it is a choice. That being said and because it is a choice and not something He forces on us, we have to choose to involve Him in our struggles and allow Him to help us through our struggles and temptations.

“When I am weak, my God is strong.”

“When you fix your thoughts on God, God fixes your thoughts.”
