Peace Reassures the Heart

Good Morning!

Do not be anxious or worried about anything, but in everything [every circumstance and situation] by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, continue to make your [specific] requests known to God. And the peace of God [that peace which reassures the heart, that peace] which transcends all understanding, [that peace which] stands guard over your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus [is yours]. -Philippians 4:6-7

Everything in life that is bothering us or that we are struggling with, we need to take it to God. If we do, we can experience a peace that rises above anything that we are dealing with; a peace that rises above all anxiety, all worry, all doubt; a peace that will stand guard against the enemy trying to get to you. That peace is the Holy Spirit in work in our lives and He will gladly stand in the gap for us if we go to God with our worries and anxiety. I encourage you to give your anxieties and worries to God and then LEAVE THEM WITH HIM, don’t go pick them up again, instead remind yourself that God has them and He is not willing to give them back to you. God wants to give you that peace in it’s place.

“The struggle is real, but so is God.”

“God’s peace means He will either calm the storm or calm you in the storm.”
