Connect to God

Good Morning!

I am the Vine; you are the branches. The one who remains in Me and I in him bears much fruit, for [otherwise] apart from Me [that is, cut off from vital union with Me] you can do nothing.  -John 15:5

To live a fulfilling life we need to be connected to God. We might be able to live a “successful” life, according to the world’s standards, if we are not connected to God, but it will never be a fulfilling life apart from God. On a grapevine we can’t expect the branches to produce any grapes on their own, they have to be connected to the main vine. So it is with us, we can’t expect to produce good fruit if we are not connected to God. I think there is too many times we are just connected enough to stay alive but not connected enough that we get enough nutrients and substance to produce any fruit. Let us connect/commit fully to where we can produce the fruit to overflow onto other people, because that is the way God’s Kingdom spreads and grows, and evil gets defeated.
