Good Morning!
Through laziness the rafters [of state affairs] decay and the roof sags, and through idleness [the roof of] the house leaks. -Ecclesiastes 10:18
This is so true in our faith. If we get lazy in our faith and don’t take care of it, don’t keep it maintained, decay will start to set in. Then pretty soon we allow a leak to happen that will soon turn from a drip to a steady stream. If we don’t get that leak and the decay fixed it will seem like we are at a point where it is too bad to fix. Our faith will never get to the point where we can’t get a new roof but why let it get to that point? Let’s address the decay as soon as it starts. Be consistent in our prayer life, be consistent in our Bible reading, be consistent in being involved in our church community. Let’s not get complacent or callous in our faith, be in the moment, let the fire of God burn fresh in us each and every day.
