Psalms 127:2

Good Morning!

It is vain for you to rise early, to retire late, to eat the bread of anxious labors— For He gives [blessings] to His beloved even in his sleep.  -Psalms 127:2

The struggle is real in this particular thing for a lot of people including me. We get caught up in all that we have to do that we keep getting up earlier and going to bed later trying to just get a little more done. It creates anxiety, stress, and unrest to the point that we forget to enjoy life, to enjoy the moment that we are in because we are already stressing out about the next thing that we have to do. It is hard, but if we can keep the big picture in mind as we go through life I believe we will enjoy life a lot more. If we put checkpoints and accountability in our lives to help us snap out of the rat race and help us enjoy the moment we will benefit from it with a peace that only God can give us.

“The trouble with the rat race is that even if you win, you’re still a rat.”  -Lily Tomlin

Dad Joke of the Day:

I heard there was a new store called Moderation.

They have everything in there.

Have a great Wednesday!
