Good Morning!
Fight the good fight of the faith [in the conflict with evil]; take hold of the eternal life to which you were called, and [for which] you made the good confession [of faith] in the presence of many witnesses. -1 Timothy 6:12
We are all in spiritual battles if we know it or not. Part of being a Christian is that we get help fighting those battles. We have someone that we can go to for direction and gain wisdom from and we can know that in the end, in the big picture of life, God and His followers are ultimately going to win the war. That doesn’t mean that the individual battles aren’t hard and it might seem at times we have lost those battles. We are fighting the battles between good and evil no matter if we are Christians or not, but as Christians we partner with God and we can help reach more people and help them get saved to where our fighting isn’t just for us but is in the pursuit to save lost souls. As Christians, our battles are not fought in vain. Everyday we have choices and a lot of times in those choices is where we fight our battles. A lot of times the right thing to do is not the easy or the popular choice, but instead is often the hard thing. Are we going to do the right thing when approached with those choices? Like the verse states above, fight the good fight of faith, take hold of the eternal life you are promised through your faith. Don’t take the easy road, instead take the right road.
“The battleline between good and evil runs through the heart of every man.” -Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn

Dad Joke of the Day:
Have you ever noticed that anyone driving slower than you is an idiot, and anyone driving faster than you is a maniac?
Have a great Friday and an awesome weekend!
