Good Morning!
For His divine power has bestowed on us [absolutely] everything necessary for [a dynamic spiritual] life and godliness, through true and personal knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and excellence. -2 Peter 1:3
I absolutely love this verse! In God we have everything we need in order to have and lead a dynamic spiritual life and live in godliness. There may be things that happen in life or we may have had a rough go of life in general but none of that need stand in the way of a vibrant spiritual life. Your spiritual life does not have to reflect your physical life. Your faith, your beliefs, is one thing that nobody on this earth can take away from you, it is the one thing that is up to you. No matter what happens to you or around you, your connection with God does not have to suffer because of it. God does not tempt us and God does not wish us harm. God only wants what is best for us and we have to trust that to be true, especially when it doesn’t feel like it. I know that someday it will all make sense and in that day we will be glad that we stuck to our faith and trusted God’s bigger plan. Study the verse above and live in that truth this week!
