Proverbs 15:29

The Lord is far from the wicked [and distances Himself from them], but He hears the prayer of the [consistently] righteous [that is, those with spiritual integrity and moral courage].  -Proverbs 15:29

Sometimes the wicked seem to prosper and it doesn’t make sense to us how even through their evil lifestyle and wicked ways that they can still prosper when there are so many truly good people suffering and not doing well financially. Prospering doesn’t have to do with just money and possessions but can instead mean your faith walk. Sometimes the poorest people are the most prosperous when it comes to their faith walk. The above verse says that God is far away from the wicked, meaning He distances Himself from them, so therefore He is not the one that helps them prosper. God does, however, hear the prayer of the righteous. He doesn’t maybe hear them, or hear just some of them, but He does hear them and He hears all of them. We can trust that our prayer reaches God just how we intended it and through faith and patience we will see the fruition of those prayers. Pray with confidence         today and relish in the fact that you have fulfillment in life and aren’t chasing empty things.
